Startup Sauna has been awarded in Silicon Valley by UBI Networks.

The nomination for the top ”young” university business incubator for 2013 was announced in the Global Benchmark 2013 report.

Startup Sauna won the award for top “young” university business incubator for 2013. The young incubators category recognises exceptional performance by an incubator with less than 5 years of operations.

The top incubators were identified by measuring three different assessment categories. The categories are: contribution to the ecosystem, their value to the client startup and their attractiveness quotient.

-  I’m glad we received this recognition which is based on metrics. This is a good start but our goal is of course to be the best incubator in the world, says Startup Sauna’s managing director Miki Kuusi.

UBI Networks tracks the action of about 150 university business incubators in 22 countries.
