azeti Networks GmbH, a manufacturer of IT security and monitoring technology, announced the closing of its first round of financing by Earlybird and NRW Bank Venture Fund.

azeti specialises in IT security and monitoring field. The company, founded in 2006, offers an email firewall technology, azeti MAILProtect that it says recognises and screens out spam with nearly 100 per cent accuracy, before it lands on the desktop as unwanted junk mail. A second product, azeti SONARPLEX recognises errors in IT systems, from hardware to applications, before they occur, reducing downtime and improving the level of service.

“It is our aim to drive forward the internationalisation of our business. We are pleased that we have found strong partners in Earlybird and NRW.Bank who want to follow this growth path,” said co-founder Dirk Hartmann.
