The European Innovation Forum (EIF) is a new initiative to discover, discuss and share the most effective ways to organise your open innovation pipeline.
The EIF is launched by Prof. Henry Chesbrough, in collaboration with ESADE Business School and the Science|Business Innovation Board.
The EIF is a by invitation-only gathering of senior innovation managers at leading companies across a variety of industries in Europe.
- Meets together twice a year in to review new developments in Open Innovation
- Examines successful and less-successful innovation management initiatives among EIF member companies
- Provides a platform for guest speakers to share their own perspectives on what works and what doesn't work in managing innovation
'Open innovation' is an R&D management strategy that uses partnerships between big companies and outside organisations - universities, research institutes, suppliers and even customers - to get more new products and services out into the marketplace quickly and efficiently. It is part of the broad spectrum of approaches to innovation now being explored across the globe.
