Wellcome Trust opens up seed and translational funding to European researchers and companies: Interviews

At a meeting at the Karolinska Institute, Stockholm, on 2 December 2008, the UK-based Wellcome Trust met researchers and entrepreneurs to explain that its translational funding and seed funding schemes would now be open to scientists and companies – small and large &ndash from Europe.

After the meeting, Richard Seabrook, Head of Business Development for the Wellcome Trust, spoke to Science|Business’s Peter Wrobel about the decision.
