Microsoft Europe, presented the Microsoft ICT Award to Jean-Christophe Baillie, Founder and CEO, Gostai.
The Microsoft ICT Award went to French entrepreneur Jean-Christophe Baillie. The company he formed, Gostai, has created a platform that allows proprietary robots to use the same kinds of software. There are many robots with embedded software, said the judges, but Gostai’s approach could present a layer of independence and offer a web service to provide a number of activities for robots. Gostai is a spin of from ENSTA/ParisTech, France. As part of the prize, Jean-Christoph wins an all-expenses-paid visit to the headquarters of Microsoft in Redmond, Washington.
Prize: The winner of the Microsoft Award for ICT spin-outs, will get an all-expenses-paid 3-day trip to Microsoft headquarters, in Redmond, Washington. The prize winner will tour the Campus, get the chance to meet people with innovation responsibilities at Microsoft to learn more about upcoming trends and company strategy – and visit the company’s home of the future and office of the future.
