Around the world, policy makers have been turning to innovation programs to help create new jobs and economic growth. For the past few years, a bold new European experiment in innovation policy has been underway.

The European Institute of Innovation and Technology has developed a unique way to get scientists, companies and educators working together on innovation, and is now on its way to producing a vibrant crop of alternative energy, climate-change, and information technologies.

It’s also growing fast - with a ten-fold budget rise slated to make it one of the biggest innovation programs in the world.
